My pencil down to the lined paper to answer
The words swirl before me, and I lean back in alarm and awe
They wilt, shiver and melt off the page, black ink stains the table

They hover and burn and mark the page

I blink, and smile and giggle in glee. My eyes close and I feel her near me. Her smile, her voice grants me joy.
